Do you ever forget the names of the people you meet when networking?
Hiver closes initial fundraising round of £150k to launch its smartphone app that remembers the interactions you have when networking, so that you can connect with the people you meet and follow up effectively.
Too many people for too long have suffered from ‘networking related amnesia’ – a common symptom of event goers, conference attendees and avid networkers. Research shows that over 80% of people forget the names of people they have met which can not only cause embarrassing situations but most importantly stops networkers getting value from the events they attend. Being able to review, connect, and then follow up efficiently is really where the power of networking lies – Hiver addresses this need in a secure and discreet smartphone app that is due to launch later this year for free on iOS and Android.
Hiver also offers event organisers anonymised real-time analytics about their event. The insight provided enables event organisers to effectively manage and sell their events so that both sponsors and attendees have a great event experience.
Founded out of the London Business School, the team behind Hiver have developed the venture over the past 12 months through the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship incubator. With an international team of passionate and committed employees, Hiver is now looking to further expand its team of developers.
